Smugglers
Cove is fantastic - with decent
snorkeling, pristine white sands, tranquil atmosphere, amazing views and waters
right out of a magazine AD. While there
are no facilities, a friendly vendor sets up his beach bar daily.
It is good to remember that this
beach is also remote, requring a rough drive on a rutted back road. None of the beaches has life guards on duty
on Tortola so you are always swimming at your own risk.
If you get caught in an undertow remember to NEVER fight the current and swim PARALLEL to shore, that is the safest and only way to help yourself in that situation. Once you are free from the undertown swim into shore, but only then should you stop going parrallel.
